MEET heidi.

Heidi’s a big fan of calm and quiet... she’s also BIG in general. This beautiful tall girl’s looking for the perfect forever home, and we’re determined to help her find it! Heidi gets the big zoomies when she returns home from a leisurely walk, and it’s absolutely precious.

This beautiful girl’s perfectly suited for a quiet suburban life in a low-activity home with no other pets or children. Heidi’s not confident around other dogs and can be socially awkward. At this time, she’s not suited for on leash greetings, as she’s working on building her confidence.

We’re looking for someone who’ll be a strong advocate to be her voice when she’s afraid of both human and canine strangers who approach when she’s feeling unsure. In return, Heidi will be incredibly affectionate towards her human protectors, offering snuggles and cuddles at home.

Heidi enjoys playing with toys on her own, and eventually settles when the house is calm.

She’s considered low-medium energy, and is currently going on 3 walks a day—20 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes after work, and 15 mins before bed). In a calmer neighbourhood, Heidi would probably enjoy more exercise and/or the luxury of a backyard to relax in.
